hello all, i have quite a simple question, some would say this is a software problem and indeed the software solution does seem to answer my servo issues, however, as i already use proprietary control software to record and playback servo motion, i would be looking for a way to send my control signals (potentiometer joystick) to some kind of critical damping circuit that adjusts the ramping of my motion before sending the corrected motion to my servo.
How would i achieve this?
thanks
simon

Hi,
without knowing specifics on how you joystick would control servo, I can only hazard a best guess.
In the end it all comes down to software. You would probably be better off putting another AVR in the middle of your ramping board and the servo that intercepts the i2c and filters it as you need.
Sorry I can't be more specific at this time. If you post more detailed information I would be happy to revise my answer.
