I very recently started writing a servo controller in Java for the LynxMotion SSC-32 servo controller. My eventual goal is to add built in sequencers for several common robot designs (three different types of hexapods, two types of bipeds, possibly others), as well as the ability to customize the UI for other applications. I also plan on adding support for these servos off the I2C bus, once I get more of the core components of the program written, and once the interface for these servos becomes more finalized. Also, it would be very nice if the various digital servo modifications used the same (or similar) interface routines, as that would make developing code much easier.
More information about the program can be seen here.

Well, I must say that I have also been trying to do the same here but it is with slight discomfort that I say that there seems to be no way we can sort it out mate. Not that I know or heard of it! Adding built in sequencers really seem to be a great deal of getting the job done but having the insurance provided by someone or something is totally another thing, which I am afraid is quite not possible here! _________________ CAAS |
