Hi
I built the Osif on a pcb from seeedstudio.
I flashed the bootloader and programmed the firmware.
But when i scan the port, the software does not find the osif.
I allways get found adapters -1
Any ideas ?
Cheers

| I guess the first things first, when you scan, are you connected to a good openservo board? I think you're referencing the diag software scan. If so that scan will scan the I2C bus looking for OpenServos. |

No I just have the adapter in the moment, but shouldn't it appear as adapter while scanning ?
I only get:
"No adapters found, but got this far regardless. Something went horribly wrong."
Cheers

are you windoes or linux?
for linux open a console and type lsusb
You should see OSIF listed as 1964:0001
Did you flash the bootloader on first, or just the main firmware. It sounds like either the firmware is not quite right, or there is a problem with the hex file.
If you want I can upload a basic hex with the working firmware. _________________ http://www.headfuzz.co.uk/

THANK YOU!!!!
Works now, it was the firmware.
So, time to invest in some open servos.
